How to reach Albania?

There are different ways to travel to Albania, and the method you choose depends on where you are coming from, how long you have, and what your budget is.

1. Air - Tirana International Airport Mother Teresa

The most-known airline companies that fly to Mother Teresa Airport are British Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Alitalia. If you’re interested in low-cost airlines, Wizzair has flights from Budapest, London, and Dortmund. Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from the USA, but connected flights with transit in Istanbul, or Frankfurt.

2. Sea - One of the most favorite ways to reach
 Albania, is by ferry.

Most of them depart from Italy and arrive at either Durrës, Vlorë, or Sarandë, also there are some ferries that operate from Greece too.


3- Land - There are different ways to get to Albania by bus. 

Even though it’s not the most comfortable way to travel, it’s usually inexpensive. You can catch a bus to Albania from Istanbul (Turkey), Athens (Greece), Thessaloniki (Greece), Prishtina (Kosovo), Tetovo (North Macedonia), Ohrid (North Macedonia),  Sofia (Bulgaria), and Ulcinj (Montenegro).

The prices go from 15€ to 40€ for a one-way ticket, depending on where you start.
